Aviation Fire Safety forms an essential and inalienable component of wide spectrum of Aviation Safety as a whole. It is universally accepted that Aviation Fire Fighting and Rescue is a specialized job to be handled by well trained professional fire fighters in the event of an aircraft crash. With the dawn of the 21st century this work became more complicated and hazardous with the impending introduction of new generation wide bodied, multi-level aircraft which pose fresh challenges to the aviation Rescue and Fire Service personnel.
